Bangalore (Karnataka) [India], June 3 (ANI/NewsVoir): KredX, India’s largest supply chain finance platform, continues its efforts to provide businesses with fast digital and affordable access to liquidity and today announced its collaboration with Tradewind Finance, a global financial solutions company, to underpin increased exports and corporate supply chain finance solutions. This collaboration will focus on providing KredX’s customers with competitively priced financing for their international business, exports and imports by leveraging KredX’s platform and the financing capabilities of both companies.
In November 2021, KredX received “in principle” approval from the IFSCA to offer Indian companies a platform to transact and raise finance for their exports and imports. This allows KredX to expand its expertise in offering a best-in-class transaction platform and offering financing solutions to its existing customer base while continuing to add new ones. Working with Tradewind, among other proposed collaborations, will enable KredX to offer Indian companies a transparent, competitive and reliable financing option for their international business. Under this new agreement, KredX will support the domestic financing needs of Tradewinds customers in India and will provide Tradewind with corporate graphics and business information related to the Indian market which will strengthen the German and Indian Lender Association with exporters in India.
Tradewind Finance, with headquarters in Germany and a presence in India, provides liquidity to companies trading internationally and in multiple currencies. The firm’s focus on cross-border financing combined with its strong portfolio of buyers and suppliers around the world will provide Indian companies with the cash flow resources to grow their businesses globally and trade more efficiently. Tradewind’s competitive pricing and scalable financing will also enable Indian companies to execute larger transaction volumes.
Commenting on the collaboration, Manish Kumar, CEO and Founder of KredX said: “We are delighted to partner with Tradewind Finance on such an important initiative. Partnering with a globally recognized organization like Tradewind, with expertise and experience in facilitating trade finance globally, will allow us to continue to strengthen businesses and open new avenues of growth, not only within India but internationally as well. Given our large customer base and significant business in India, we are confident that this partnership will help us better serve our customers and tap into the country’s underserved export and import finance market. We are targeting growth in excess of 1000 percent in the major corridors of the United States, Europe, the Middle East and the rest of Asia.”
“We are excited to partner with KredX and make cross-border financing more accessible for Indian companies. Tradewind is heavily invested in India and we are excited that our services will help SMEs shine in the global marketplace. We are sure that this partnership will be profitable for both companies and will help to achieve the overarching goal of providing SMEs with fast access to financing both nationally and internationally,” comments Soheil Zali, Regional Commercial Director for West – and South Asia at Tradewind.
